What is Graphic Design?
Graphic design is the process and art of combining text and graphics and then communicating an effective message in the design of logos, graphics, brochures, newsletters, posters, signs, and any other type of visual communication.

What Level of Degrees are Available?
Most students work to earn either an Associate’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree. But finding a local college that offers a Bachelor’s degree in this field is often difficult, so prospective digital arts students with their professorstudents often decide on earning a shorter degree.

Some students choose an even shorter diploma or certificate of completion program from a local vocational or specialty school. These programs allow them to learn the specific software and skills they need to get started in their first job, without having to spend a lot of time in classes not directly related to their career interest.
