If you have an interest in working in the graphic arts and design career field, there are a few different education paths you could choose to travel down. You can train for one of these positions at a local university or other specialty school. You can put in four years at a college or just a year or so at a specialty training program. Most local universities do not offer a four-year degree in design, but may offer a fine arts degree. Vocational or specialty schools may offer shorter, more intense training with classes related specifically to design. And if you have a busy schedule, some schools offer evening, weekend and online class options.
