St. Clair County Community College
• Established in 1923, St. Clair County Community College (SC4 for short) is a two-year community college. It offers an Associate in Applied Arts and Science Degree in Graphic Design.
• SC4 is located in Port Huron, Michigan and has students from all over the state, but mostly from the Blue Water Area.
• SC4 offers mostly associate degrees and certificate programs.
• It also offers online classes and a variety of transfer programs for students who wish to transfer to four-year institutions in order to obtain a bachelor's degree.
• SC4 is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
• It has a state of the art, award-winning library and the school features wireless technology.
-- The Skippers are affiliated with the National Junior College Athletic Association and play in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association.
-- The school currently has volleyball, baseball, golf and basketball teams for both men and women.
-- The 2009-2010 men's basketball team succeeded in winning their way to the 'sweet sixteen' of the NCCAA basketball championship tournament.
• Honor Society
-- Phi Theta Kappa, the honor society of the two-year college, has repeatedly recognized SC4's own chapter, Lambda Mu, as being one of the best in the nation.
-- It won the Chapter of the Year award in 2000, and has won the distinguished chapter award for 14 years consecutively
-- It also the oldest society of its kind within Michigan and was founded way back in 1963.
The Student Government of St. Clair County Community College offers many programs for the students and their personal and professional development. Some of the major clubs of the college are:
-- Computer Information Security Club - You can call it a club for the geeks but yes, it is one of the coolest clubs in the college with some great tech minds.
-- Drama Club - the Drama Club is meant for students who like theater and performing arts.
-- Engineering Club - An exclusive club for the future engineers, it is an amazing place for networking and future collaborations.
-- Environmental Concerns Organization - ECO is for students who are interested in promoting environmental awareness. Be a part of the scouts who work for Mother Nature.
-- Global Awareness Club – There are many countries like Afghanistan, Haiti, Iraq, Russia, and Sudan that have been in news for all the wrong reasons. For the students who are interested in international affairs, GAC is a great place to be.
-- Women's Soccer Club - Playing soccer at SC4 is a great gaming experience. The club is meant for developing the spirit of sportsmanship and improving the game of the members.
-- Newman Club - A special club for spiritual Catholics for discussions and debates.

Nazareth College is in Rochester, New York. They offer two different four-year majors in Visual Communication Design. One is their Visual Communications Design Major leading to a B.F.A. degree and the other is a Visual Communication Design Major leading to a B.S. degree. They also offer a minor in graphic design.
Northern Essex Community College is a two-year college in northeastern Massachusetts. NECC offers an Associate Degree in Graphic Design. This program offers instruction in general design, layout, Photoshop, reproduction, illustration, and advertising. Students learn how to communicate using type and images through traditional and new media.
Clemson University is a well-known college situated in the northwest corner of South Carolina. It is a public college, and tuition is high for non-resident students. Clemson offers a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Production Arts Degree which is a program that blends art with cutting-edge technology.
